We may not always feel like exercising or going to the gym.


We may not feel like going for a run, a walk or making time to plan ahead and cook healthier meals.


We may not feel like putting effort into our appearance.


We may not feel like searching for things to be grateful for every day.


It's often easier to find things to complain about.


It’s easier to let ourselves go and make no effort.


It's easier to sit down and let our minds relax while watching TV.


It is easier to order takeout or dine out every night.


Consistently taking those actions will shape our future.


Any action done consistently every day shapes who we are, where we’re headed, and what we’re doing.



Do your daily habits align with the person you aspire to become?


If so, keep it up!


If not, start with your mindset now.


Ask yourself: How do I want to feel?


I personally want to feel youthful and physically fit, vibrant and full of energy in both mind and body. I want to live a fulfilling life.


Now my focus is on maintaining a youthful and healthy mind and body for the rest of my life. It is my guiding North Star, so to speak.

I don’t always feel like exercising. There are moments when I'd rather relax and unwind after a meal. However, I understand that taking a walk is one step closer to my goals.


And sometimes that’s all I can accomplish on a given day. One step at a time, one day at a time. Every action counts.



Having clear intentions helps us know which direction to take, and a strong mindset helps us stay on track toward our destination.


That’s why having the right mindset is crucial. It keeps you on track and serves as a constant reminder of the path you should follow to become the person you aspire to be.
